The style, safety, staff, breakfast, location and comfort. Everything was perfect. As a lone female traveller i felt very safe in this hotel. The staff are vigilant at the entrance to see who was coming and going so this gave me an extra feeling of safety. The location in midtown is excellent too, on a relatively quiet street but right in the middle of everything. The style of this little boutique hotel was gorgeous too with fresh flowers in the reception and everything always looked so clean. The breakfast was fantastic too which was a choice of bagels and croissants and with a Starbucks coffee machine, all included in the room price. The room itself was perfect, although there was no wardrobe it didn't matter as everything within the room was organised in a thoughtful and neat way, you can place your clothes on a space under the bed and for me this is more than enough. I don't really have any faults for this hotel only the high price i paid but i booked this hotel only one week in advance of my arriving. I will definitely return here the next time i come to New York

PROS -room is very modern, comfortable bed, two sets of pillows, pitch black night of sleep -bathroom (minus the sink which is in the room) is very modern also, loved the shower which was huge compared to the room and had plenty of pressure -the big question before coming was whether the room was too small and where we would fit our stuff as there is no cupboard. We had one large suitcase (two would have worked also) and we took all our clothes out and put it in the two large drawers under the bed, and then put the suitcase by the door. -Nespresso machine in the room, Starbucks machine in the kitchen on the ground floor -they say breakfast is on a first-come first-serve basis but we found croissants, bagels and apples every day, regardless of the time. -they have a gym free to use but it’s a couple of blocs away -large TV facing the bed -location was perfect, walking distance from most touristic things, well connected with subway as well as Grand Central -WiFi was 10/10 flawless

Stylish, modern, quiet and comfortable. Lots of attention to detail and I like the theme. The staff are super friendly and happy to share info if you’re a tourist or shopper. Walking out of the hotel lobby - turn left and you’re at stylish Park Avenue with Grand Central station a hop and skip away. Turn right - 5th avenue and Madison Avenue with the shops around the corner. It’s just in the most perfect location. I like the thoughtful bagels and croissant breakfast and free access to coffees and teas and water etc. I felt very safe as a solo female traveller. The pressure from the shower head was unforgettable- I could’ve stayed under the shower all day. Sweet touch of lavender under your pillow to help you sleep. Plenty towels and high quality amenities.

Great hotel, in a perfect location! Major attractions and landmarks within walking distance. My girlfriend and I stayed there for a week. Since our check in, the staff was very welcoming and they were able to accommodate us despite the early arrival. The room was very clean, on a high floor, (Empire State view included) and the room cleaning service every day was also spot on. Towels and toiletries were changed and replenished every day with care and attention to details. Despite not having a buffet breakfast, the hotel served free pastries, bagels etc in the morning from 6 am onwards as well as water, tea, and coffee. We were not disappointed. Good accommodation where to spend our holiday in New York!

Staff were so friendly and welcoming (particularly Danielle). The room was exactly as pictured and described. They had even upgraded us to a superior room with it being our silver wedding anniversary, which meant we had city view. Soundproof windows with blackout curtains. The room had a luxurious modern feel, that were functional (hairdryer, clothes steamer provided), under bed storage, comfortable bed, room was cleaned and the towels were replaced daily. The elevators were quick and quiet. There is a kitchen/dining area downstairs with fresh bagels, croissants, cold water, tea, coffees available to all guests. The midtown location was ideal, we walked everywhere. I would highly recommend this hotel.
